Soar around the world and onto the streets of India to peer through the lens of Chantel Pinzo, and meet a spectacular group of revolutionary women whose act of rebellion can be as simple and daring as stepping outside, onto the decks of their skateboards.

In the heat of a late Indian afternoon, a young woman glides across the cracked concrete of Janwaar Skatepark. Her shadow follows the curve of the ramp, long and fluid, before breaking against the painted words: No school, no skateboarding. Around her, wheat fields sway and children cheer, their voices echoing across one of India’s poorest districts. For Asha Gond, this isn’t just a park, it’s a revolution made of wood and wheels.
