Meet the inspiring conservationist, activist and international environmental leader, Maya Tilousi-Lyttle, through the lens of the world-renown documentary photographer, Pete McBride, as they venture to protect the treasured lands of the vast Grand Canyon region.

There are certain people who you meet that instantly project a warmth and kindness you can feel, and a brilliance of soul that is wildly uplifting. That is what comes through when you first meet Maya Tilousi-Lyttle, a radiant young woman from the Havasupai Tribe – the people of the blue green waters – and from the Hopi Tribe. What is equally unique about Maya is that she comes from a family, and a community,  of conservation leaders that have proven astonishingly successful. 

 

Maya is the daughter of former Havasupai Councilwoman, Carletta Tilousi, who herself has worked for decades to protect………..
